Company Covid Policy
DMT Geosciences is first and foremost committed to providing a safe environment for our employees and their families, our Clients, and our community. DMT Geosciences is also committed to business continuity and has upheld the execution and delivery of our services and products without interruption or loss in quality.
Throughout this coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic DMT Geosciences has taken practical steps and implemented measures to ensure the welfare of all. We are monitoring the situation daily and are keeping up to date with the latest government policies and public health agencies’ advice. Moreover, we are keeping everyone updated on the actions being taken to limit risks of transmission in the workplace. Our sites are adhering to social distancing regulations and enhanced hygiene practices have been implemented. PPE is made available to everyone present at all our offices and work sites.
We are encouraging staff to work from home when possible. Non-essential travel by DMT Geosciences personnel is discouraged, as such, most meetings are held online. Staggered days have been implemented for employees who must be at the office to reduce potential contacts. Only required employees and essential visitors are permitted to be present at our offices and work sites.
Employees have been given information to help them identify symptoms that might be expected if someone contracts the virus. We also have plans at hand should any potential cases be identified to protect our staff and clients, and so that work can carry on. Employees have been advised of the steps to be carried out if they have COVID-19 symptoms at work or outside of work, and what to do if they are informed by DMT Geosciences that they have been in “close contact” with a suspected COVID-19 case at work.
The health and safety of our employees, Clients, and community remains the top priority. Everyone must do their part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and maintain a healthy work environment.
